Mark Philip Lichtenstein is a producer/director and professional magician from New York City.  Current work includes two half-hour comedy pilots for American Sports Network.  Mark recently directed and edited the first installment of Swapped, a web series in which iconic movie scenes are recreated in meticulous detail with the genders reversed, the first episode having debuted on Refinery29.


Mark’s directing work has been featured on The Onion’s AV Club, IndieWire, Esquire, Entertainment Weekly, Funny or Die, Refinery29, The Daily Dot, Hello Giggles, Pop Crush, Nylon,, Huffington Post, Bustle, Bust, The Mary Sue, Movie Pilot, Urbanette, ETCanada, WhatsTrending, JoBlo, HerCampus, Lambda Literary, Pop Crush, Pop Geekly, PinkNews,YayLA, The Horror Honeys, Blasting News, and festivals including The DAMN! Lovecraft Film Festival, etc.  Mark has worked in post-production at ABC, CBS, and more, on shows including Good Morning America, World News Tonight, Nightline, and others.  Mark is also developing a period feature film about the Viking invasion of Anglo-Saxon England.  As a magician, Mark performs close-up magic and mind reading at private parties, consults for stage, screen, and even in the world of art, including a one-of-a-kind ghost illusion for installation artist Yinka Shonibare, MBE.
